Why this site exists
RateChange.ca was created to empower Canadians with timely, accurate information about interest rate changes. We believe that staying informed about rate movements helps individuals and families make better financial decisions. Reviewed snapshots, explicit sources and visible calculations make that purpose easier to check.
How we work
Official decisions are dated and linked. Retail lender offers are not fabricated from policy-rate spreads. Tools label their assumptions and limitations. Important corrections can be sent to hello@mitey.ca through the enquiry form.
What Mitey can help with
Mitey’s optional AI helps navigate public explanations and methods. It cannot access private accounts or make eligibility decisions. Contacting a person is a separate, explicitly consented action; chat and calculator sharing remain optional.
